Medicare

Medicare doesn't have to be confusing.

You'll get a mailbox full of ads and a hundred choices. We cut it down to the two or three that actually fit you — and explain each one until it makes sense.

Our help costs you nothing. We're paid by the carriers — the same amount either way — so the plan we recommend is the one that fits you.

Where are you right now?

"I'm turning 65."

You have a 7-month window around your birthday to enroll. Miss parts of it and you can pay penalties for life. We'll map your dates and handle the steps.

"I'm already on Medicare."

Plans change every year — premiums, doctor networks, drug lists. Every fall we re-check whether your plan is still the right one. Most years it is. When it isn't, we move you.

"I'm helping my mom or dad."

Good on you. We do three-way calls, explain everything twice if needed, and never rush a decision. Bring their medication list — we'll do the rest.

The one choice that shapes everything

Original Medicare covers a lot — but not everything. The big fork in the road is how you fill the gap:

Medicare Advantage

One bundled plan, usually low or $0 premium

Often includes dental and vision

Trade-off: you use the plan's network of doctors

Medicare Supplement (Medigap)

Pairs with Original Medicare

Higher monthly premium

Nearly any doctor who takes Medicare, anywhere in the country, with little paperwork

Neither one is "the good one." The right answer depends on your doctors, your prescriptions, your travel, and your budget. That's the conversation we have.

How working with us goes

01

We talk about your doctors, your medications, and how you use care.

That list drives everything else.

02

We run your list against the plans in your area.

Every major carrier, not one company's menu.

03

You see 2–3 real options side by side.

With the trade-offs in plain English.

04

We enroll you and stay your contact.

A billing issue in March? You call us, not a hotline.

Common questions

How do you get paid?+

By the insurance carrier when you enroll — at rates set by Medicare's rules, essentially the same across plans. You never pay us, and your premium is identical with or without our help. So you may as well have the help.

Do I have to redo this every year?+

Your plan renews on its own. But plans change each year, so we review yours every fall during the annual enrollment window. A quick call usually settles it.

What if I'm still working at 65?+

You may be able to delay parts of Medicare without penalty — it depends on your employer coverage. This is one of the most common places people get burned. Ask us before you decide.

I moved to another state. Does my plan follow me?+

Advantage plans are tied to where you live; supplements travel better. Either way, a move opens a special window to make changes. We're licensed in 49 states, so we stay your team when you relocate.
